  1. I don't think it would be....As long as it isn't bad and against your faith! I know somebody SUPER religious and she got a tattoo.

  2. if it is, i think you need to find a new religion.

  3. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

    Leviticus 19:28

I'm not a christian but i think it's very hypocritical to say a lot of christians have tattoos so it must be okay, a lot of christians have premarital s*x, a lot of christians commit adultery, a lot of christians lie thost things MUST be okay.

tattoos are awesome and addicting. i want many, many.

  4. Honestly, it depends on how strict of a Christian you are. Some people who are extremely religious say that it is a sin. But many established Christian religions realize that times are changing and that what's outlined in the bible needs to be looser.

However, I know for a fact that tattoos are forbidden in the Islamic and Judaism religions. Just a snapple fact for you :)

  5. No I don't think that it is a sin because most people who are of the christian faith have tattoos, even though the majority are symbols of god. For example crosses, and hands in prayers, but there are others that do have non christian related tattoos and most aren't considered sins.

  6. absolutley not. im christian and i have tattoos. getting a tattoo doesnt interfere with your faith what so ever. go for it love :)

  7. The Leviticus scripture is no longer valid, we don't live under Mosaic law anymore (since Jesus sacrifice etc etc etc.....) so no, there is nothing sinful or unscriptural about getting/having a tattoo

  8. As long as it's nothing huge or out in the open like on your face or arm.

  9. no, i dont think so.

  10. no.

im a christian and no where in the bible does it say "thou shall not ink thy skin"!

i think its rediculous when people say it is.

  11. i woudl say dnt get it on yop of ur hand or your forehead and your fine ahah

  12. Im not religious anymore, but i was raised in a church with the philosophy that god created people in his likeness and they are beautiful as is. In the old testament theres a quote about not wearing jewelery or markings on your body because it is about worshipping yourself instead of god which makes me angry because i think you should be able to be proud of who you are and your accomplishments and your body and the bible is self contradicting. ANYWAYS. if you believe that its wrong, then don't do it. I think that as a person you should be allowed to claim your body and express individuality however you like. It depends if your faith is based more on the more leniant new testament or the strict old testament which tells you to kill the girl who got raped if she didnt yell loud enough....

  13. No way, look at the number of people with religious tatoos! Especially crosses.

  14. as long as it isnt 666

    6 6

    9

  15. i know so many christians with tattoos....its your body, and your temple, adorn it how you wish
