do you get the visa in hongkong or in china and what visa is appropriate. my niece's contract was terminated because of some trouble with her employer. I asked her to come and visit me here in China to discuss about what happened and possibly go back to find a new employer, can she get a tourist visa? She was maltreated by her employer but the employer gave a different story and this was collaborated by the police. Worst they gave her a bad release letter. these DH should also be protected on these situations, they have resorted to all possible means to provide the money just to have a job. Her agency now told her that it's difficult to get a new employer for her but she wants to look for another one rather than going back to the Philippines, for how could she pay her debts back there? Please enlighten me on this matter since I'm not so familiar with some regulations. I wish there somebody who could help her.

  1. If you are in Hongkong, apply in the Chinese Embassy thereat in order to travel to their country.

  2. philippinos can enter Hong Kong for 14 days without a visa, but as far as a job, she will have to go back to the Philippines to find one and then go back if she has found one,you cannot go as a tourist and stay for a job.
