I was wondering if anyone knew if I became an RN in America, if I could work in another country. I was thinking I might have to take some sort of exam to see if I was qualified, but I also am concerned with the fact that things might be done differently. Too differently, maybe, that it wouldn't allow me to work anywhere but the US. Thanks!

  1. You'd probably have to check with the specific requirements in each country to know. If you already have specific countries in mind, I would suggest checking with their requirements to see what exams are given or what qualifications/equivalents they have. Maybe if things are very different you will have to take a few different courses to satisfy some of that country's requirements or to prepare for their own qualification exams. It really depends where you want to go, though.

  2. australia here and new zealand have such a high demand for nurses they would probably fly you over here and give you any extra training needed. i doubt this would be much.
