What do you do if you consider yourself a republican and you dont like the republican candidate? Do you consider leaning towards the other party or just agree. I'm sure there are people with leniency but what about die hard republicans or democrats for that matter?

  1. I vote on policy not people. If you are Republican in theory, you should not have much to dissagree on. It you are independent, as I am, you agree on most, or some, but not all of the candidates policy stances.

  2. Even the worst republican is better than any democrat...

  3. I am pretty much a life long Republican.  Before today I was planning on voting for Bob Barr because I don't like McCain's liberal stances on several issues.  McCain, though, proved to me he takes the "right" side of the party seriously with the Palin nomination.  I'm excited about the Republican ticket now - will vote McCain

  4. vote for bob barr

  5. I am a real republican, but McCain isn't. If you look closely at McCain's voting record, it is very liberal, and has chosen a neo-liberal minded lady with no experience. Also, McCain is a neo-conservative, not a true conservative for the GOP. A neo-conservative is the age of conservatism that will likely have weak economics/financial issues, advocate bigger government, more military bases overseas, and a harsher foreign policy.

I am a republican that still holds the party's true values like restoring Constitutional obedience, sound money, no-policing the world policy, less/limited/transparent government, no more foreign bases, balanced budgets, and more power to the people, not the government. McCain, and the current GOP, don't stand for this anymore, that's why I'm not voting this year. Ron Paul was a great example of true conservatism, and real proAmerican policies. Notice I'm not defending Obama either. Take care.

  6. Maybe you're not a Republican or you are beginning to realize that the two party system is archaic.

  7. Listen to the other candidates, Obama, Barr, Nader etc.  And then choose another.  Many republicans are voting for Obama and spoke at the Democratic convention or vote for Barr.  Look into what they have to say.

  8. You write your own name in on the ballot.

  9. Why some republicans are wanting to support a socialist gun grabber that will tax us to death (carbon tax anyone) is beyond me. I say you don't like McCain so your not going to vote or vote for Barr then **** YOU!!! You might as well be voting for obama.

I see it this way. With the Senate and house and President all controlled by liberal scum we WILL become a socialism and there is no getting around that. After they repeal the 2nd and 1st ammendment (respectivley becasuse they need to disarm you before silencing you) They will start breaking down your doors for your guns after they tax you to the point where you can't afford to live as everything you make (100% of your paycheck) will be taxed leaving no money for ANYTHING else so they will forfully evict you with full auto machine guns and kill you if you resist. I honestly see with obama as pres. states will literaly start to succeed. If were not nuked by china or the USSR after he dismantles our military.

Hey obamatards!!! What has obama really done besides compare McCain to Bush and call for "hope" and "change" that he has NEVER laid out? I would like to debate you, you know without using Bush as thats your fallback talking point. You do know he wants to add a $1 per gallon of gas tax that would go to the UN and doube the estate tax right? This "take from the rich to give to the poor" c**p is socailism pure and simple.

  10. I think I'm in love.......I consider myself an independant but I lean Republican. If you're anything like me you believe that this ridiculous 2 party system is killing us. I encourage you to vote for Bob Barr (Libertarian) or at the very least spread your beliefs, regardless of who you vote for! Barr won't win, but I try to hold out hope that at least a statement may be made that many of us are sick of most of the same ol' candidates.

  11. yeah you are right, that is why so many democrats will vote for McCain or saty in home

  12. Be Smart.

    Pick Barack Obama.
