How much do you make a year in your district?? What State are you in?

I am in Pflugerville, TX.  Starting salary here is 40,000.  Pflugerville is just 12 miles north of Austin.

I teach in Florida.  Starting pay for teachers in my district is $37,000.00 with no experience.  You receive 6% more with a Master's Degree.

I believe starting pay in my district is just over $30,000 which is a little lower than other districts here in Phoenix, AZ. but our ending pay (Master's plus with longevity) beats other districts.

Northern Virginia -  $40,000-42,000 for first year teachers with a BA and no experience.  Although, getting hired in the state of VA is very difficult since they recently passed all of their qualification requirements and we are so close to D.C.
