  1. Neither.

Your hymen is right at the entrance to your v****a, just inside your v***a... and in almost all girls by the age of puberty it's got a natural opening large enough to fit a tampon into.

You just have to do it right, that's all.

The ones with plastic applicators *definitely* make things easier for girls who've never used tampons before... but once you know how, anything that's comfortable to wear will be easy to insert.

Helpful advice (beyond the semi-useless package directions)? Yeah... just three things:

    1) Aim the tampon more towards your back than upwards... your v****a actually goes *back* for more than half of its length, not just up... and push it in gently (twisting it back and forth a bit might help it slide more easily) as far as the applicator will go while you're still holding the end of it.

    2) It'll be easier to do the first time if things are slippery "down there", so don't wipe away any blood and stuff until you've got the tampon in place. If there's very little blood there, just smear a couple of drops of saliva on the tip of the tampon (or its applicator if it has one) and it'll make things a lot more comfortable.

    3) Relaxation is **important**. If relaxing isn't easy for you, try pushing just a little bit as if you're trying to p**p or pee... your pelvic muscles will relax a bit and that will help a *lot*.

There's an OK video instruction about it at http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to/video/...

  2. i think to get a tampon in you might have to break your hymen- i could never get a tampon in until after I had a baby! there didn't seem to be anywhere to 'put it' lol!

  3. i am curious about it too...

    this helped

the hymen is partially open so anything can break it.. and theres no way of really knowing. Its not further back (im not sure why its not easily visable :/) It forms part of the v***a, or external genitalia.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hymen

There are several different formations of the hymen, some more common than others. In about 1 in 2000 females, the hymen fails to develop any opening at all. This is called an imperforate hymen and if it does not spontaneously resolve itself before puberty a physician will need to make a hole in the hymen to allow menstrual fluids to escape.

    weird..

so i guess in overall... a tampon can stretch it but not break it.. if some guy is pounding u good then he could tear it.. thus created blood and popping your cherry :P but also everyday activities can stretch it out or tear it.. breaking it is the same as tearing.. its just basically making ur v****a easier to get to by breaking it. kinda interesting...

  4. myth! you are still a virgen!! that opening is stretchy!! lol

  5. hymens stretch quite a bit before they tear..

and, only 2 out of 3 girls are even born with one, and 80 of those that are will break theirs before the first time they have s*x

  6. Nope. Tampons don't break it.

How do you do that cute little star on ur name?
