I'm not really looking for a "trick" board, just one for downhill snowboarding. I've rented one before, but they've chosen the size for me, so I'm unsure on what size I received. I've heard that you decide by if it is between your chin and nose, but I also heard that was a bad way of deciding. Please help?

  1. Don't let anyone fool you with their "it should reach your chin" garbage. Your board size (length and width) should be chosen on width of your feet, your weight (along with the boards stiffness), terrain and personal preferance. Many boards have sizing chart sticker on the bottom of the board which board stiffness is accounted for. good luck

  2. depends on your weight, but probably around the high 130's low 140's area.
