When I was there last summer, several teachers and I were debating whether we would still be alive and able to come visit the completed cathedral. We certainly hope so!!

  1. Oh absolutely - I've only seen pictures of it, so far -- but I love architecture, I love Mexican and Spanish Culture, and I love art -- there's no reason not to!

  2. doubt it b

  3. Sure will if I have the cash for the trip!

  4. I hope so.

I visit the Church last year for my second time. They are working very "fast" in the towers and the vaults. If they continued the construction at this velocity I believe that 2026 is a possible target to finish.

As an Architect I enjoy all the works of Gaudi in Barcelona especially La Sagrada Familia and Parque Guell.

Remember that Cathedrals can take easily 200 or 300 years to construct.

  5. If "this" constituted a debate, then your teachers are the cloned progeny of their teachers.

  6. Only to admire the architectural design, not to worship as i am not abeliever.I firmly believe the money should have been better spent on the christian and poor in the 3rd world countries of this world.
