If you are already on adoption leave from work and then adopt another child in the 26 weeks?

It should be....but all employers are different. You need to speak to human resources about the situation. Good luck!

i don't think so because they would need to fill  your position.  Some employers  may let you but i dobt they  will let you have a year off and still have a job when you come back

We adopted our child, but Ive never heard of adopting another child so quick before, like others have said, it depends on how flexible your employer is, also it differs if you are a man or a woman! theres equality for you!

I don't know. I'm trying hard to exercise my right to take adoption leave.... we've had my son for a month and a half and I want to take 4 friggin hours a week starting next month, and they're fighting me tooth and nail.

No.  There is a maximum amout of time that FMLA allows you  to be gone in a year, as I understand it.

Not in Canada.  It would be a new claim, considered the samwe as if you had twins, or adopted siblings.
