If you are applying in a call center and the interviewer says "i have the luxury of time in choosing the ?

right candidate, and if you receive a call in 2 days means you are not qualified". does this automatically mean i do not qualify or i just need to believe him and wait for his call, should he does.

Regardless of the situation, I tend to take people at face value and believe what they say.

But someone saying to me "if you receive a call in 2 days means you are not qualified" would confuse me and I wouldn't be too happy to work with confusing-vibes-sending-people, I'd probably throw it back at them saying:

"you mean the person is not actually going to say anything?, how would I know the call came from your office then"?
