If you are asked to take part in an article....?

Question

for a well known international womens magazine....would you be entitled to be paid for this? I have been asked to be in one of these as they are doing a feature on me, someone else and also US women too. I havent done this before. Do you know my rights regarding this and photos? they have asked that I email over some pictures of me too!

If you are not writing the article, you are unlikely to be paid for it. You are getting publicity if you have a business, and something for your resume.

If you e-mail over pictures you are most likely implying that they can use them.

Also i don't think that they are obligated to pay after all there are even models for these types of magazines which do it for free.
