If you are asking about "experience" as a trainer, why would you choose Atlas over Steward?

Teddy Atlas never trained Tyson for ANY pro fights and was fired for pointing a gun at Tyson's head. Great understanding of a fighter's head LOL He did train Michael Moorer to beat Holyfied when Evander had heart failure in the ring. Later, that loss was avenged by an 8 knockdown demolition of Moorer by Holyfield. Why is Atlas better?

actually, steward and atlas are the only two trainers I'm familiar with in the sport, and my knowledge slants towards the 90's-present. but i would pick steward in a very close call.

best example: he trained Oliver "the underachiever" McCall to an upset Round 2 KO over Lennox, then took Lennox's corner a few months later for a TKO so that means that he can take his'in and beat your'in then take your'in and beat hisn'in. right?

but atlas is no slouch, and I love the Tyson gun story. first time i've heard it. one thing you didn't mention, when Moorer lost to Foreman, it was because the idiot wasn't listening to Atlas in the corner even though Teddy was giving awesome advice (HBO live)
