  1. yes, very unfair.  Why not? I think it's and healthy to have a great opinion of yourself.  If you thought you were really ugly, nobody would say anything.  I think it fine.  I have a website that deals with this a little bit, have a look, you might find something of interest there.

    best of luck

  2. wow...........forse è meglio che me ne torni in italia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  3. I think that if a woman thinks she is beautiful other woman will assume that she is self centred and vain. There is nothing wrong with thinking you are beautiful as long as it doesn't go to your head and by that I mean thinking that you are better than anyone else.

It's well known that models feel and act this way so you can hardly blame other women by not liking them.  You sound like a good friend with a beautiful personality.

  4. people are allowed to admit they are beautiful, they are all just jelous :)

  5. cuz the beautiful girls in school sleep with the most boys

  6. I think if you are beautiful you don't need to say it. It shows, people already know. Usually the ones who are not have to constantly mention it.

  7. They are probably envious.

  8. that is so mean!!!!

aniway, you can go tell them to go kiss my a$$.

    they are juss jealous...big time.

  9. Yes.. Although some people go overboard and think h**l yea i'm just it.

  10. There is nothing wrong with knowing your own self worth and having self belief unfortunately there is a very fine line between this and being seen as a big head who looks down on those around you.

The phrase "and she knows it" tells me that she may well be a target because she treats others as inferiors.

  11. Actually she is a fibber because I am. I have never seen my equal and don't suppose I ever will so I don't think of it anymore and I wish that people would stop remarking on it. I just take it and what goes with it for granted. Sometimes I wish it wasn't so.

  12. It is considered extremely vain and arrogant to boast about your own talents. After all, it should be up to others to decide how good you are, not you. Being highly intelligent, for example, is fair enough (lucky you etc.). However, constantly pointing out to people how intelligent you are is simply annoying. I would not want to be friends with someone who did this. The same goes for any skill. If you are a great guitarist, fine. Just don't go bragging about it at every opportunity. Good looks is the touchiest subject, since it is something that almost everyone desires. Your friend may be pretty, but she ain't too smart.

  13. they might be doing that because they might think shes vain

  14. It's because of jealousy basically, you can't say it out loud because you're branded a vain airhead who's up herself no matter what your personality is.

I myself (having had things similar happening to me) prefer to be around people who can admit they are beautiful, and not go on about how they'll never be skinny or that boy will never like them because they are ugly.

Alot of the time it is the ones who don't know they're beautiful who annoy me most.

  15. No because beauty comes from within, I hate people who think they are so gorgeous - they are usually oozing poison from inside

  16. Why would you want to brag about being "beautiful"? I put it in quotes because when you say beauty you are referring to physical attractiveness, which is the most shallow form of beauty. It really doesn't mean anything, and if you want to be proud of that you have a very shallow personality.

Congrats to your friend for being born with features that society finds attractive. We're all very impressed.

  17. just jealousy

  18. i'm beautiful... i can say it... She knows she is beautiful like I know I'm beautiful. They are just jealous! I had that same problem when I was in High School. They really are just jealous. If I was you I would just come up with some smart as* insult. Hope I helped!

  19. Urgh because there's just no need. People will be able to see she's pretty. She could just be humble about it rather than going around letting people know she's it.
