  1. I dont think you can change or get out of it,(Well I cant)

ITs just like one min Im happy and great mood and than someone turns up the tv and I blow up and get in a rage and stressed out :(

it normally changes when other people react to it,like if they said I cant go to the gym for 2weeks I would get ex mad and even if they said okay lets go now,I would still be angery

  2. That is a very good question, but i am almost positive that the person stays in the depressed mode...i mean,it is highly unlikely that a gift or winning a few bucks would change a persons brain chemistry.

  3. Feeling joy or elated once the depressed episode has set in indicates there is a change in your neurotransmitter levels.  Feeling joy during a depressed state is not typically possible unless a shift is taking place.  The sheer fact of feeling happy or joyful means that there has already been a change in serotonin levels, dopamine levels, and the others that are associated with mood and perspective.  So I think it is more likely a shift towards a manic phase if and when one responds to positive stimuli such as a good thing happening or enjoying an exciting event.  The shift between states is usually unplanned and spontaneous, which goes along with the mood change described in your question.

  4. terrible thing to have, have been reading up on it on the web, one site spoke about learning the triggers, when possible, medication and sleep, etc, quick intervention can may allow you to stop minor mood swings from becoming major ones, at least you recognize your disease, some people are in denial or do not get diagnosed.

  5. Three letters for you mate:

    CBT.

    Cognitive Behaviourally Therapy...

I am in control of my moods and can incite them as and when I need them.

CBT and my own brand of Saccadism has helped me overcome my Obsessive Compuslive Manic Depressive Narcissistic personality disorder.

    I've had them all overturned.

I just have a sick sense of humour, a healthy sense of fun and a strong sense of what is right and wrong.

Please make note of my profile and email me - I will help you.

I am a trained psychoanalyst, ex junkie and punkband frontman, and have seen a lot of people suffering from such symptoms - even from PTSD and related in the military. You be surprised at the amount of alcoholism / drug abuse occours in this field...

It may not be Bi-polar depression, I can't tell at this juncture. But with time and conversation, we can determine what is right for YOU and decide upon the course of action that is best for you to take.

Anyone who says you are stuck with it - don't believe them.

I was told that and I'm NOT.

and I'm nearly 60 percent stupid, so I don't listen to what other people say - I know that what I say is the best for me. And cos I'm 60 percent stupid, it means that most people are more intelligent than me.

So it works for them, too.

You can email me through my profile and, after a time, I will give you my practice or agent's email address for you to contact me regularly. I always respond within 72 hours, usually sooner.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Will someone please answer my Question?
