If you are cooking a giant rack of beef ribs on the grill, should it be cut into pieces or left whole?

  1. The larger you can keep them the better, and more moist they will be.

    Keep the as large as possible, yet easy to handle when turning.

    Don't boil them.

    Use gloves to turn if too big for your tongs.

  2. Whole if your grill is large enough.  The slab is really mostly bone so it really doesn't speed things up to cut them up at all.

  3. If you want to speed up the cooking process you cut it. You don't really care, just leave it whole

  4. Just yesterday I read to leave them whole and then cut into serving sizes after they are done.  But I think they were talking about the regular sizes.


  5. I would cut into sections of about 2-3 rib bones per section.

    This way they wont be so messy to cut and seperate later.

    Or smoke them. Refridgerate at least over night. Then cut and then add to thte grill to heat up and add a little more flavor.

  6. Unless you have a very large grill and two people to deal with turning them, cut them.  They have to be cut sooner or later to serve anyway, so why make things more difficult to handle?
