Home schooling is done by the parents, or legal guardians.

If someone comes to your home to do so it is often done by a teacher who makes home visits to home bound public school students, or otherwise it would be considered tutoring.

We, the parents home school our children until they are ready to be independent students.

When my son was being home schooled my sister started out teaching him.  I worked full time and she home schooled her 2 boys.  Eventually either my husband or I taught him.

Homeschooling law varies from one state to another.  In some states, the parents must do the educating.  In Florida, someone else can do the teaching as long as the parent "directs" the education.  

While most homeschoolers that I know are taught by their parents, I've also known some who were taught by other people.  Some go to the home of another homeschooling family and learn along with that family.  Some go to various places (museums, the zoo, community centers, people's homes) and take classes geared to homeschoolers.  Some pay to go to another person's house and have lessons there.  There are lots of different ways to do it (despite what some people have stated in other responses).

No one teaches me. They have a program that I do online, called K12. I have teachers incase I need help, but the curriculum is done online.

I am being Homeschooled currently, I'm in the 9th grade.

And my Mom does it with me, but for the past 3-4 years I have been doing a lot of it on my own.
