  1. Mine is being held in a barn (not used for animals) on my grandparents ranch in Southern California...

    My grandfather had the barn built for my parents wedding in 1979,, For the last almost 30 years since the wedding it's been used for storage of woodworking equipment,  odds and end my grandfather sees at antique shops and flea markets "I just had to have." that grandma won't let in the house..   Things like mooseheads, neon beer signs, and antique vending machines (He has a condom machine from the 1920's.. I kid you not it says "A pleasure for you and your Chicky too." on the front placard..  No wonder grandma banned it to the barn...   LOL

  5. If we didn't have to take anyone else into consideration, we wanted to get married on Lake Superior in Minnesota. There is a chapel that overlooks the lake, and the weather up there in the summertime is heaven (nice and cool). But my grandma was 90 at the time, and traveling from out of state. If she had to try to make that trek, I don't think she would have been able to make it to the wedding. She is one of my best friends and I count NOT get married without her there, so we did the traditional church & reception wedding in the city.
