  1. Let the mom feed them. If you don't know where the mom is, you can buy kitten replacement milk. You can get the best products from your vet. Make sure you know when to feed the kittens (they need fed quite often) and keep them warm. Never feed cats cow milk. Causes diarrhea which causes dehydration in pets, especially babies and can kill them. Call your vet for all the information you need. Good luck.

  2. They have special kitty milk at a pet store.

  3. WATER!!! - milk makes cats sick - believe it or not!

  4. omg! whatever you do, don't put normal milk in the bottle. you will make them very ill.

you can buy a formula, which you mix yourself, at your local pet store. have a sales-person help you find the right one.

i had to bottle feed four baby kittens, and it's quite hard. you need to feed them often, and they start to bite the nipple off the bottle.

also, you will need to warm the milk. to do this, get a cup of hot/warm water and place the bottle in it. you need to watch it, and test it on your wrist every couple of seconds. you want it to be lukewarm to the touch. whatever you do, DON'T PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE. this will cook the milk unevenly, and it will burn the babies.

after you feed, you need to wet a warm washcloth, again lukewarm, and gently wipe their butts and genetalia, to get them to urinate and deficate.

you should keep them in a cardboard box with a blanket in it. don't use a heating pad, as they will fall asleep on it, and get burned. if they are too cold, and they're shivering, put a blanket in the dryer, and warm it that way.

good luck. and make sure they get their shots on time. this is a very risky business, rasing kittens by yourself, so make sure you do it properly. and even if you don't want to get up and feed them, you need to do it anyways, because they're little animals that can't take care of themselves.

GOOD LUCK! if you need anymore help or have anynmore questions, contact me immediately!

  5. Well if you want to make sure she/he is healthy you might wanna make sure the milk is creamy and kinda thick but not too much!AND MAKE SURE THE MILK IS WARM.........

i have 2 kittens and i've had them since they were about 2 weeks old . Our cats didn't wanna get bottle fed so we got one of those thing that look like a shot injection carrier but its a thicker hole (get them from a pharmacist) so we put the milk in there and then they fed off of it. Its easier for kitten to eat out of them then a bottle. Try it out if the bottle doesn't work

  6. Get either the Hartz Replacement Milk or KMR. Ours didn't really like KMR, but he loves the Hartz brand. Do NOT put regular milk! Your little kitties can't digest it. And make sure the hole in the nipple of the bottle isn't too big, or that kitty may aspirate (which can cause pneumonia).

Good luck! You will have your work cut out for you!!

Edit: And I would get the powdered kind that you mix with water. It lasts a lot longer. I think once you open the liquid ones they only last 48 hours, and you'll never use the whole thing.

Email me if you have any more questions. I've become some what of an expert in the last 3 weeks.

  7. do not use cows milk!!! formula or goats milks works great. talk to a vet if you arn't sure

  8. There are commercial formulas for kittens. Call a vet nearby and see what they reccommend, too.

  9. How timely!  I rescued a kitten this morning and someone gave me this link:  http://www.kitten-rescue.com

It's chock full of info, and it includes something like 4 recipes that you can use to make a temporary kitten milk until you can get something better.

In a pinch, regular milk will do - it's better than nothing.  But you want actual kitten replacement milk.

  10. just put normal milk

  11. Go to your store & next to the cat milk they should sell fromula, if they have none cta milk wioll have to do but formula is better

  12. DO NOT PUT MILK. It makes them extremely sick and they throw up A LOT!

  13. they have special formula at the pet store i found a cat  and it was a baby we kept it she did not drink it from the bottle so it bites so becareful don't give real milk it will kill them.

  14. You can find kitten formula at Wal-Mart. That has all the nutrients kittens need. Regular milk isn't the best for them. The formula isn't horribly expensive, either, so go out and get some as soon as you can!

  15. Kitten formula (powdered and liquid) are available at PetSmart and Petco.

  16. Any kind of milk works really but in my opinion i get the powder milk for babies at the store. Its more simular to breast milk.
