If you are going to compress a gas, which conditions would you recommend. Why?

an ambient temperature with very little environmental vibration or disruption. this is due to the molecules of gas being more "free" and able to move thus can expand faster than a solid or liquid. heat and kinetic disturbance will create energy in the molecules.
