how does temperature affect humidity ?

why cant cold air hold much water vapor ?

how do clouds form ?

Temperature can either increase or decrease the humidity. As temperature increases, humidity increases.

Cold air does not have a lot of energy available to evaporate water. Also, warmer air has a greater vapor pressure.

Water vapor is lifted high enough into the atmosphere where it condenses and forms clouds.

i know the answer to question 2.

Cold air can't hold much water vapour because the moluculces are spread apart which means it relaeses all it's water vapour..

i just had a question like that on my test!
