  1. i went ice skating for the first time a coup[le months ago and it doesnt matter if your big or not but if you have good balance and strong ankles then you should be good but yes i did see over weight people iceskating they did seem to have any trouble just try it out it really is fun and easy

  2. If your heavy its not hard to learn anything. Just cause you have a few extra pounds than other people does not mean that you can't do the same thing that other people do.. Get up and go Ice Skate.... Dont let your weight hold you up. However it might be a little harder then someone that is skinny.. but put your mind to it. If there is a will there is a way... Good Luck....

  3. Hello, not at all, it can sometimes be an advantage if you get into ice hockey. The only difference it may make is on corners, you will dig in more, but come out faster. Go for it , try it, if it doesn't suit you, try roller skating ( now there is a challenge). You don't get wet, but the falls are harder, anyway you try it, good luck and give it a fair go.

  4. no its easy u just gotta practice. i play hockey and im the goalie so i got alot of pads on and they get pretty heavy. give it a try silly billy

  5. just ride the Zamboni machine...so much fun!!!

  6. Hard on who ?  You, or the ice ?

I don't know ?  But then again.......I guess....... I don't see why not ? I mean, if Sea World can make all those whales do all those tricks "n" sh**

Just don't be trying to get another fish to eat every time you take two little steps with your skates.

Also, don't go around gathering up all the ice that gets shaved by the blades on the skates, and start making yourself snowcones. Your there to learn how to skate dammit, not to eat...........some more !

  7. i think it adds more clumsiness i think

  8. alright ok the answer would be yes you can ice skate but you might want to start out on roller blades, that what i did. just becouse your heaveyer doesnt mean you cant to things others can you just got to practice. i would teach you but i live in missouri

  9. Just watch you knees and ankles

  10. You can either Ice skate or you cannot has nothing to do with size.  When our children was small my friend and I decided to take our 5 children to the ice skating rink.

I had two boys and as one went a short distance and fell on his behind.  The other clutching the rail was strugging to stay up.  I did the same and never mastered even one trip around the rink.  Neither did my friend, or her oldest daughter.

The youngest a small chubby little girl we thought would just fall and cry.  Zipped away from us and zipped round the rink without so much as a wobble.  None had ever been on skates before.  She loved it and before we left was doing figure 8's and the rink.  while the rest of us just watched.

She was a natural.  The rink manager was watching her and said, some are like that, they have no problems from day one.

Others, never really e ver quite cut it.

I think it is strong ankles?  But , you never know until you sail out on the ice.

  11. it is alot of fun if you try it and keep practicing then you wont be over weight
