  1. i dunno

  2. Nope. Years dont count.

  3. I have two fighter pilots in my family and they did count their flight hours, but did not give them any extra seniority over other pilots with the same ratings. They are both in their 50's and sometimes they have to fly under guys under 30.

In the airline industry, seniority is everything. Its all about how many years you have in the actual industry.

  4. If you are asking about time as a military pilot, your hours certainly would count towards showing your experience to a potential employer as an experienced pilot.

If you are asking about receiving a veteran's preference for military time in a non-aviation related field, that would be a company policy and would vary from one line to the next.

  5. fly time counts
