  1. Probably not, but the airline will normally offer a settlement so that you don't sue.

  2. After a commercial airline crash, the airline often releases funds to the victims of the crash and/ or their immediate families.  I have seen this range anywhere from $2000-20,000 in the first few days after a crash.  This money is usually available for major disasters reguardless of who is to blame and covers clothes, food, transportation in the first days after a disaster for those impacted.

Long term, there will usually be several lawsuites against the airline, pilots, aircraft manufacturer, etc...

  3. Did you crash at your destination?  Just kidding.  I don't know.

  4. Refund, this is an interesting question. You will not get a refund but they will compensate you. And that will be more than what you paid for.

  5. Not if they wrecked on the airport of intended destination!

They got you there. Theres nothing in the contract of carriage that states that the airplane has to be reuseable once it gets to its destination.

  6. it all depends on the airline and their terms and conditions that you agree to when you purchase the ticket. Some airlines still hand out the terms and conditions paper/small print with the tickets but most just post it on their website.
