  1. Lots of married women take ballroom lessons without their husbands, who often as not are grateful not to be forced to tag along. And when married couples do go together to the studio, they dance with others more than with each other. There is no requirement whatsoever that you be romantically involved with the people with whom you dance. It's a totally separate thing. I am happy to dance with school-aged kids and ninety year olds alike.

  2. ask your spouse if it's fine with him/her it should be fine with you and to most people it's okay to go to ballroom class because it's not about s*x stuff like freak dancing sometimes is so as long as you don't go freak dancing I think it's fine hope I helped =^..^=

  3. I don't think it is bad to take it without your spouse. When my boyfriend and I signed up for ballroom classes, when he couldn't make it one night, he told me to go ahead and just take class with the instructor. If your spouse doesn't mind you wanting to take a dance class that happens to include partnering, go for it, but your significant other's participation is NOT a requirement. Good luck!
