If you are mixed what are you mixed with?

Question

What are you racially, ethnically so on mixed with. Do you see this as an advantage or do you feel like you dont fit in with your cultures?

My mom is Black and Irish, my dad was Puerto Rican. My mom identifies as Black, so I identify as Black/Puerto Rican. I have often felt that I didn't fit in with my cultures, especially with both sides of my family. The Black side tells you to speak English and eat soul food, and the Puerto Rican side tells me to speak Spanish only and eat arroz con pollo and go to the Puerto Rican Day parade. When I was a child, I was so confused, but as I grew older, I learned to embrace both sides.

Now I see it as an advantage because I'm bilingual and it comes in handy in the job market as well as general life.

i wish i was i have no hair!!!! u will be lucky to be mixed my parents are some lazy africans but they dont look nothing at all like africans thats is why no can tell my parents are african except by my last name

Japanese, puerto rican & italian

sometimes i feel its an advantage cuz i have dual citizenship and i can speak japanese but when im in japan im from the states and when im in the states im the girl from japan  so i never fit in 100%

i am mexican, hawaiian,irish and i just found out i'm also a little bit scot/dutch and chinese. i've always embraced my mexican side and my hawaiian side ever since i could remeber but i've recently found out my irish family crest and i don't really embrace my scot/dutch and chineese b/c i'm only a TINY bit

I'm Jamaican, Cuban, and Indian. But I have dark mahogony skin, so everybody at my school labels me as black from africa =/

And the wierd thing is, I've never been to africa.

I'm mixed with snakes and snails and puppydog tails, sugar and spiced and so many things nice.

I fit quite well with my culture in the petri dish.
