  1. - National Express Coach from Heathrow Airport to Cambridge. Then switch in Cambridge to another coach to Lakenheath. (1 transfer)

    - London Underground (the Tube) from Heathrow Airport to Kings Cross Station (take the Piccadilly line - blue). Switch to a train headed for Cambridge. Then  a) take a bus from Cambridge train station to Lakenheath or b) take another train to Lakenheath. (2 transfers)

    - Someone else recommended a "pre-booked taxi" like Anglia Cars - http://www.angliacars.com/ See their website for prices. If there are several people with you, a car might actually be cheaper. (no transfers)

    - Heathrow Express to Paddington Station. Tube to Kings Cross. Train to Cambridge and then another train/coach on to Lakenheath. (3 transfers)

  2. Some of the London Victoria to Norwich coaches call at Lakenheath. The web site of the National Express coach network has already been given.

Heathrow and Victoria are connected by coach and Tube services.

  3. There are almost 30 National Express buses that go directly from Heathrow to Cambridge (2:15 to 2:50 depending on the time of the day). I imagine there is fairly convenient bus service the remaining 25 miles to Lakenheath.

The nearest major rail stop is Ely, but it would take you much longer to get there by rail.
