  1. American laws prevail.

  2. American laws prevail only if the plane left here from the states.

However back in the 80's when I played hockey, it was not hard to be served a drink with other players that was old enough to drink.

Probably different now with Homeland security and everything being brought onto the plane is questionable!!

    Including most passengers now.

  3. Man don't you miss the good old days (per-9/11) when you could BYOB on the plane?

Umm yeah the answer to your question is "c"

    This is multiple choice, right?

  4. I agree with Wounded Duck, That's right to the point.

  5. This is about the 5th most asked question in here.

US law applies until you go through customs.

It doesn't matter anyway, because nothing is served while you're on the ground.

  6. In the air we follow the laws of the flag carrier (US in this case). Once on the ground you have to follow all local rules (country, state, city, region, etc). That is why no airline is dumb enough to serve drinks on the ground. You would need a lawyer on the ground to determine what the exact laws are at that spot on the ground at that moment.

  7. I WOULDN'T KNOW I THINK LIKE WOUNDED DUKE SAID..
