  1. I don't think it would hurt! It's a wonderful process the Doctor can also answer any questions you may have before you start to try to conceive

  2. STRICTLY before

  3. no but if you are already in the office why not ask to get checked out to make sure your good to go when ready.

  4. No, you don't HAVE to - there are no rules for that sort of thing.  But it's definitely a good idea to have a checkup and make sure everything is okay before you try to have a baby.

  5. You don't have to, but it is better if you do. It is in the best interest of the mother and child's health.

  6. Not sure of your age and/or if you are asking for yourself or someone else.  Of course, I am not aware of your age either.  I would assume that you are visiting the doctor once a year for an annual exam if you are sexually active.  There is really not a need to see a doctor prior to becoming pregnant unless you have a questionable medical history.  However, when in doubt - take the time to visit the doctor, have an exam, ask questions and take control of the situation.  Good luck and I hope this helped a little.

  7. you don't need to see a doc unless you have been try for 6 months to a year depending on your age.

  8. Yeah why not. I didnt but if i where 2 try again i might.

  9. It's better if you see the Dr first so that he can check for infections etc. and start you on prenatal vitamins (by the time a woman finds out she's pregnant and sees a Dr some birth defects have already happened). It's important to make sure you get that folic acid before trying to get pregnant.

You don't have to go first....a lot of women have Oops and end up pregnant first....but if you are having unprotected s*x...the chance of getting pregnant is good so you should see your Dr about getting on BC or prenatal vitamins. And to also check for STD's (they will anyways if you end up pregnant so why risk the life of an innocent baby?)

    Good luck.

  10. I did before our first pregnancy so that he could offer up any advice. He also had me start on prenatal vitamins a month or two before we started trying because it's better to be healthy before than to try to get healthy during.

  11. Most people go after they find out they're pregnant... but it can't hurt to go beforehand.
