  1. Yes it can hurt the baby!!! The baby will get no nutrition if she is throwing everything up!!! YOu need to talk to her about it asap!!!!!

  2. yes she can hurt the baby. the baby needs nutrients and if she's depriving herself of them the baby is also deprived. she could end up losing the baby or with an underweight baby. when you're bulimic you also lose a lot electrolytes and you have an electrolyte imbalance and this can lead to all sorts of things like heart problems and even death.

you have to be very careful as to how you approach this. most likely she's scared someone will find out as this isn't a pretty disease. it's very ugly and there's a lot of shame involved. carefully ask her if everything is ok and if there's something she'd like to talk about. you could mention you've noticed she goes to the toilet straight after a meal and that you're concerned for her health. if she denies everything and you're sure she's bulimic then try talking to her partner or/and her parents.

  3. Yes bulimia is very bad for your baby. Just tell her that you know her issue and that she should get some help before it hurts her baby.

  4. YES! Baby isn't getting anything if she's throwing it up!
