A lot depends on you.  If you obey all rules and regulations, you may have your time reduced, depending on the city or state where you are located and the gravity of the crime that placed you in juvenile detention.  The key is not to get yourself into any messes while incarcerated.  Your attitude is important.  If you are considered a wise guy, you will serve your total time.  Better to bite the bullet and get this thing behind you.  And most of all, keep yourself out of such situations in the future.  Your past will follow you if there are any more incidents and time will be added the next time around to maybe a year or more.
