  1. No you will not, same if you take the train or go by car.


  2. No - the only way you know you've crossed the border is the road signs are different in the 2 countries.

  5. No. There is nothing there now. You just drive over the border although it isn't really marked. You can tell because the road improves and lovely miles per hour signs return.

    For most purposes travel between any points in Ireland is "check free" but it would still be a good idea to have some ID with you.
