Does the state automatically take the child or does the family have any options? What if you get out a few months after the baby is born, does that change things?

  1. if daddy doesnt have a record or anything im sure he would have the option of taking the child, or if the mothers family was stable they would get the option...they try to make fostercare and such the last option because way too much of it goes on.

  2. Some states have a prison that you can be transferred to that will allow you to keep your baby with you. It is still in its experimental phases and you can only do it under certain rules and based on the severity of the crime. So, far the results are great. But, if that is not an option to you, then the family will decide. The father would get it under most circumstances, if the father refuses, then another family member can help. Giving the child to the state is a last resort.

  3. it will go to the baby father if his fix to have a kid if not the granma of the baby  if that doesn't work it might go to the state but  it will 1st go to the family

  4. The biological father can be given custody or another family member if it is approved or if no family is there to take the baby then the baby is placed into foster care.  When you get out then you are given a chance to prove that you are capable of raising the baby and may start with supervised visits and work from there.  You wouldn't just be given custody of the baby but in most cases you would be given the chance to fight for custody if you choose.  Really depends on why you are in jail in the first place.

  5. 2pac was born in jail

  6. it goes to a family member

  7. The baby is taken from the mother, placed in a seperate cell, and givem striped diapers to wear. When he needs to be fed he raps his milk bottle against the cell bars.Sorry, getting sleepy.

  8. It probably depends where you live. In Australia, women won the right to keep their babies with them until age 3, then they are fostered out, preferably to family.
