If you are trying to get through to someone on the phone and you keep getting a busy signal, if you call and stay on the busy signal for a while, will you eventually get over? Or should I just call back later?

  1. If you leave the phone on busy for a long time it starts to ring and a recorded message comes on that says if you would like to make a call please hang up and try again if you need help please dial your operator....  It never clicks over to the person you are trying to reach.  There is a service offered by the phone companies that they will continue to ring that person and then call you when they are available.  There is a fee for that

  2. I use 'Busy Redial' (part of my phone package.) If a number is busy, and I want to reach someone, I just hang up, pick up again, and dial *66 and hang up. It will notify me when the line is available, with 2 short rings. Then, when I pick up the phone, it will dial it for me. It works for 30 minutes. It can also be cancelled by dialing *86 Staying on a busy signal will not work..

  3. call back later. must be real important huh? they busy signal never goes away. sorri
