Etheric body, should the the physical body die?

If you Etheric body is not there to provide some type of light energy keeping your body and cells functioning you should die.

So something else must project not the Etheric body, it must remain. Death can only release the Etheric body. So it must be another subtle body.

When you astral project, there are still parts of your etheric body left behind. So if you get sucked into a black hole, you might feel drained of energy for a while, but you'll still be you.
