Question:

If you become a teacher for a Catholic private school, do they drug test you? If so, is it urine, hair, mouth?

I know I asked a question before about buying something to cleanse your system. But I figured I would ask something similar. I do not smoke weed and i made a mistake of "trying" it. I took 2 hits and that is it. I am worried sick about failing a drug test. I assumed we would have one, but there wasn't one today. But there is an orientation in August. So, I wasn't sure if perhaps they might test me then. If so, do you think the 2 hits will be out of my system by then? Thanks!!

  1. It's very unlikely that 2 hits would even show up on a drug test, and will definitely be out of your system by august, don't worry! Drinking lots of water will also help cleanse your system :)

  2. I know of teachers who work at Catholic schools and have never been drug-tested.  I have worked for public schools for 23 years and have never been drug-tested.  Odds are you won't either.  Don't worry about it.  Worry is completely useless and will do absolutely nothing for you.  If you want to ease your mind, you can ask your doctor or nurse about how long such things stay in the body.

  3. I've never heard of them drug testing a teacher at a school.  But, I hope you have better judgement as a teacher than you did when you tried drugs.

  4. as an old saying goes " ifyou`re worried , then you`re worried over nothing"

does the job mean that much too you that you`re going to spend your life worrying what their next little childish inquisition is going to be?

beware!! the head master is Matthew hopkins so it`s a dunking in the duckpond for all staff and pupils at morning break. survivors must return their " shoe bricks" and "lead socks" to main reception by lunchbreak.

I hope you get your new job , just don`t be dictated too by them.

    good luck
