plz post an answer if you believe in global warming, if u dont just say no! just plz plz plz post an answer, i wanna know bad! if u answer put y u believe or not.

I dont believe because theirs no scientific proof whatsoever, the earth has warmed and cooled before, and Al Gore believes in it. Remember in the 90s he said that the US would NOT sign Kyoto until it changed to better suit us, which it hasn't, and now hes saying we SHOULD ratify it.

Also, If you think at who exactly is pushing "green" and who their connected to, you realize its a scam. Look at General Electric. They own NBC, who owns a whole bunch of other television networks. General Electric owns billions of dollars in stock of Wind, Solar, Geothermal, and hydroelectric power, which is all useless right now. Think if everyone switched to these "green" energies. How much would GE make?

Also, GE is on the Council of Foreign Relations(CFR) and they want a one world government. I dont trust them, or anyone else on that council, like Pamela Anderson..

Also, i live in Southern California, and on a week long camping trip we did last year, one of my friends got Hypothermia. He now has no use of his left arm, or both of his legs. Is this because of Global Warming?

I believe man has accelorated it. However, I just wish the politicians would suffer with us rather than live lavish lifestyles. Even if they are wrong at least they would be highlighting they were doing what they believed to be best for their countries rather than their pockets.

I am confused by it.... there are arguments for global warming but history proves we are due for an ice age. so to get said ice age we have to warm up and the gulf stream(in the sea) has to stop....for that to happen massive amounts of fresh water has to be deposted into the sea.....ie iceland melting.... the world has a natural cycle this much has been shown over and again... but have we made it worse? will we lowering our emmissions make it any better??? is it all  a load of bumph that the governement are putting out there to get us ready for the natural changes that are due to come anyway....  I have no idea its confusing and scary..... thats my opinion..

Al Gore should be tarred and feathered for lying.  Man made Global Warming is a lie.  If Al Gore really thought it was for real he wouldn't be living in a house that uses as much energy in one month as 30 normal houses use in a year.  What farce.

The polar ice caps are as big as they were 20 years ago.  The polar bear population is 10 times as big as it was a few years ago.  The temperature is the same as it was 30 years ago.   30k scientists have signed a petition that states that man made global warming is a lie.

I believe that this could very well just be a cycle in the earths pattern.

However, with cars, planes, wasting, ect.

We have dramatically increased what's going on.

I don't think the world is going to...come to an end because of it.

But it wouldn't hurt to start conserving, walking, recycling whenever possible :)

It's not global warming....it's global climate change.

There are more extremes and though it is on average getting warmer. That means one day there might be a record for being cold, and a week later it's a record for being hot.

How can people say it's not real.

Just in past few years there have been a rise in:

landslides because the ice on mountains are melting

huge glariers have melted away

Artantica is warmer

tons more weather extremes

maple trees for maple surup harvesters have had to discover new harvesting ways

the polar bears, etc.

im not a scientist in this and i cant think of much more, but OMG there is tons....it only took the average temp to drop 5 degree to creat out ice ages!

Yeah, it's not totallu our fault though, this is just another chapter in the greet book of earth. I'm kinda interested in what it's going to be like in twenty years. I'm going to have to learn how to hunt, I already have been foraging for food, knowing what I can eat. If our population crashes or something, I'll be ready. Better save then sorry too.

I can totally see how people can think it's fake because so many people can get rich off of it and that earth is weird and awesome and does some strange thing, weather we are the cause or not. I think we are speeding it up though. Gloabl Climate Change itn't just a man made thing, it's something that was going to happen some time.

Greed takes over the world and makes us go made. It turns out the every organic grower doesn't care about the earth at all. Organic foods is another way people get rich. If all the food we ate was organic, we would have to have maybe eight earth to support ourself. There is already a food crisis in the world, we can't risk production, and all the gas, transportation, waste, etc. that comes from organic farming is overall way worse for the environment. Who would have guessed.

Global Warming is the media name for what is actually a complex problem. The actual term is Climate Change. And it's not a matter of belief, it is an acceptance of overwhelming evidence and a determination to do something. Saying whether you believe it or not is beside the point--it's happening anyway!

What is irrefutable is that in the last 100 years the amount of carbon dioxide has jumped from 30 parts per million (ppm) to 80 ppm, and that number is rising faster and faster as more nations industrialize and burn more fuels. The evidence is there, in black and white, and documented by thousands of scientists around the world.

To say that you "don't believe" in something makes absolutely no difference. It's like Peter Pan saying he won't grow up. Climate Change is happening, right now, and all the naysayers in the world can't alter that fact.

i dont like to use the word 'believe', as it has a rather different meaning for the creationists and climate change deniers.

it's not a matter of 'faith', as they try to make out, its a matter of having studied the evidence, and been convinced by it that

human actions are definitely causing climate change, and that

I think most people will agree that global warming exists.  Now, if you want to debate whether or not it's man-made it's more of a debate.  The statistics are there to back up the warming of the planet.  Pinning the exact cause is harder, though I'm inclined to think it's at least paritially or mostly due to human factors.
