I noticed he paid more to PLACE today than he did to WIN!

Its due to the thousands of $2 win souvenir tickets bought.The place on the 2004 Preakness also paid more than the win on Smarty Jones.It will most likely be the same in the Belmont.

Not pissed at all! My boyfriend bet on Big Brown to win.  He won the trifecta.  :-)

duh he paid more to Place than to Win. If you bet on a Win and didn't win much $ then that was ur fault. Be happy that the best horse won, if you wanted more $ you should have bet for a Place or a Show.
