  1. It depends if the airline offers credit (e.g. Southwest) or money back (United, American, Delta, etc.) Southwest offers a no cancellation fee and no fee to change the original date or time of a booked flight.

United and all the others offer money back at a cost. The cancellation fee ranges from $75-$200 depending on the airline to cancel a flight already booked. If the fare is refundable as the way you purchased it, you get all your money back but Refundable Economy fares tend to be around the same exact price of a non-refundable First Class ticket.

  2. Unless you purchase trip insurance, you get bupkis.

  3. U don't get anything...

  4. it depends on ur booking fare.usually if its a special or discount fare ue get none or some.but if u pay full price fare u can get all or most of ur money.

  5. Depends on the fare you booked.  Some flights are fully refundable: these are usually the more expensive ones; others will allow a partial refund; some will give you a credit if you fly within 12 months; and with the really, really cheap fares you often cannot get anything back.  Contact the airline/agent you booked the flight through.
