  1. Along with the evidence... Muppet!

  2. No, since you did what you were suppose to do.  You called the police and reported what you saw, to help them to catch the people doing the crime.  You did your best to help, which is more than some people would do.

The police will take a report of the crime and get any and all information from you and file the report about the crime.  Hopefully, the information that you gave would assist them to catch the people who did the crime.

  3. No.

Most of the time, before the police get there the burglars are gone. That was the reason for Texas to pass the law saying that someone is allowed to protect their land, as well as, the land of others around them. The fact is that police don't expect anyone to be there when they get there. They will not put their lights on to get there any quicker, either, unless the person calling 911 says that someone's life is in jeopardy.

Just tell the police when they get there what happened, truthfully.

  4. No because there may be DNA evidence of the thief or eye witnesses who saw the thief escape.

  5. Usually the police get there after the burglar is gone. The evidence is always there. There are latent prints, broken glass, or a broken door, usually pry marks IN that part of the broken door. Fibers, etc. That is usually how they catch the suspect, not by catching him in the act.

  6. You are not in trouble as long as what you say happened (the crime) actually did happen.  If not, thats filing a false police report, and then you would be in trouble.

You have nothing to fear if you are telling the police the truth in this case!

  7. no as long as its not a lie
