If you can't delete a question what should you do????

I can't find the delete thing in the pencil icon

Only open questions may be deleted. Once they are in voting or resolved, they become the property of Yahoo and go to their archives. They even stay there if you quit YA entirely.

To delete an open question go to your profile, go to "my questions". Click on the question you wish to delete, underneath it click "+", then click "delete question".
