  1. Boil the water... DIE GERMS DIE!!!

  2. you can drink bottle water, But Dont drink the tap water

  3. Who says you can't drink the bottled water? What do you think WE drink?

I don't understand why everyone makes all this fuss about the water, if you're scared bring your own! Or stay where you can drink "safe water"!!!

  4. tequila

  5. why cervasa of course!

  6. you can bottled water, but don't buy it at the street, buy it in a local store, don't drink anything you see on the streets, no juice, and btw be careful, the pollution there is sickening, I've cried when I arrived to Mexico City, and my shirt's neck was dirt, and gray, that's horrible, gross.... :(

  7. Who told you that you CAN'T drink bottled water????  Drinking water from the tap would be crazy but of course it's safe to drink bottled water...... of course buy the water at established stores (i.e. not from street vendors) and NEVER drink fruit juices/water or sorbets from street vendors.... and as they said, you can still drink soda, beer, coffee, tea or whatever they sell at reputable restaurants/bars and I promise you won't die........... GEEEEE you're not travelling to the middle of the desert or the jungle, it's MEXICO CITY so it's like going to NYC or London or Paris (I wouldn't drink water from the tap at any of these places either, although I know it isn't unsafe).......

  8. actually you can drink the bottled water!!

  9. I have seen scientific expeditions into Mexico that brought everything into jungles and desert areas, including huge containers of water. However, Mexico DF, like every other major city in the world has purified water widely available. Ice and iced products are OK in good restaurants. You would probably get sick from over drinking and eating and late nights...its not in the water, amigo.

  10. Bottled water is safe to drink. So's the coffee and soda which is made from the bottled water. I never had a problem with any of the beers in the Mexican brands.

  11. You will able to get bottled water easily enough.  In circumstances where safe water isn't available, boil the water first.  All outdoor equipment shops sell water purification tablets, you could take some of those if you're worried, but unless you're really planning going off the beaten track, you shouldn't have a problem getting water.  Just remember not to add ice!

  12. The bottled water is fine. At the grocery stores you can buy 5 gallon containers and even refill them with purified water.

But, it's amazing... I've drank the tap EVERYTIME I've gone - which is over 20 times... and I've never gotten the slightest sickness. You should be fine in the big city. If you go into any little pueblos and are offered something to drink perhaps you should ask for a soda.

    You'll be fine!

  13. usually you bring water with you. if it's a large group, it's usually practical to bring large jugs of american water, assuming that you're driving.and your group might also bring american bottled water. ask whoever is organizing the trip, they should know what they are doing for it.

  14. Who told you you can't drink bottled water?

  15. they have soda and beer you could try urine

  16. Bring your own water in water bottles if you can.... soda MIGHT be OK, but without any ice..... I'm not too sure, but I hope this helps anyways
