Me.....I like to have lunch with Mark "Jacko" Jackson...Why I don't know. Maybe because he is a character of laughs. Remember the Energiser ads, he is the ex- St Kilda, Melbourne, Geelong & Richmond player.

  1. Libba, he seems like a colourful character

  2. Kevin Bartlett, he was my favourite player when I was a kid.

Notice its just us West Aussies up this time of night Kev... : )

  3. Captian Blood, for me

    Or Mr Footy, Ted Whitten

And its not just the WA people up at this hour mate. Its midnight here in Tassie, and I'm still goin.

Im on my four weeks break thou, so no starting work at 6am for another 3 weeks........WOOHOO

  4. I would like to meet Sammy Newman!! The real Sammy newman not the character from the footy show to see if he really is a good bloke as some people say or a boofhead like others.

I would also like to meet Barry Hall (yeah I know, everyone but Swannies fans hate Barry, but not me!!). I reckon he's a bit misunderstood (Apart from a couple of brainsnaps here and there....)

  5. i would want 2 meet Charles Brownlow as he is the man they named the brownlow after and must be the best and fairest player of all time

  6. Jimmy Bartel- I love him top death! He's a awesome player and he's hot! lol Jimmy is also got a very quiet/shy personality which is very cute

  7. when i have a gurnsey with number 5 on it and that persons signature first followed by stevens and kruuuuzer obviously u noe hu i wanna meet and that person is.........

    JUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDY\

AND Y COZ HE MIGHT GIVE ME ONE OF HES MILLIONS

I FEEL SO SORRY FRO WWEST COAST FANS WE TRADED JUDD AND WE DIDNT EVEN GIVE EM THE NUMBER 1 DRAFT PICK AMAZING

  8. Someone I have met in the past, who died a couple of years back - d**k Reynolds of Essendon.

He was not only one of Essendon's three best ever(the others being Jack Clarke and Hird)but he was a fair and just commentator on football and other matters.

I would like to hear his views on the drugs aspect of today's game, whether he considered certain ruffians to be overstepping the violence barrier - Hall, Farmer etc - whether umpires are worse than in his day or MUCH worse - and so on.

A fascinating conversation but full of humour and wit.

ps I would love Dennis Cometti to be there also!

  9. I wouldn't mind having a yarn with JESAULENKO!!!! About the mark of the century.

  10. I'd want to meet Peter Daicos, because I've watched some videos of him playing and he was amazing! Maybe he could give some of the current Pies players some tips!

  11. Id love to meet Ben Mckinley(WCE) again and get to know him more and how it is being such a key forward within the eagles side in just his first year of footy & the pressures of how he was on the eagles list for about 2 years before he actually got his first game - how he got through it and how he is now playing as the eagles best forward (besides lynchy of course)

And John Worsfold - he has been envolved with the club for every premiership and every grand final, every step of the way. Id love to get inside the footy club that i love so dearly and to see his insight on everything, mainly how he felt when he won the 06 grand final and what emotions were going through him as the margin was a point with not that long to go - when he didnt know how long was left- and how the ball was inside sydneys attacking 50 - and then the sirent went. Id love to get to know how it felt in the coaches box, the techniques he used and how he managed to get his team over the line.

Id also love to chat to travis cloake - hes hotter then the sun and id just love to discover how he marks the ball so strongly!

    =)

if i had the opportunity i would love to meet every single man to ever play in AFL/VFL history because every man has a different story associated within their footy career and i love hearing football stories.

    good question!

  12. Mal Brown another colourful character and Jackos mentor.

Big Kev I have met Jacko he stayed were I worked once and I would have said Barrassi but he came to our town to recruit Steve McCann he walked into a friend 21st that was held a a footy club and we couldn't believe it so we had a drink with him.

  13. I would like to visit with Ted Whitten or Kevin Sheedy.

I would like to talk to them about the game world wide, viewing and barrackers, not matches played in America. Why the league doesn't try to market the game world wide for DOLLARS.

Of the other answers, I have met Worsfold, Jesaulenko, Liberatore, Cometti, Brown and Newman.

Not bad for a Yank, what do you think?

  14. ben cousins, because i think it would be an interesting convo if he opened up

  15. Big Kev,     Jacko used to live across the road from me. If he saw us having a kick in the street, he'd come out and join us. He was a big boy, nice guy and used to just hold us out of the marking comps, and take one handers.

A colourful character indeed, but a nice guy too.

For me, growing up and watching the Hawks Lethal and Ayres were my favorite players so i guess it would be one of them.

  16. That's a hard one Kev, so many great players come to mind.

Maybe Ben Cousins would have a few good stories to tell :))

Seriously, there are so many I couldn't choose.

  17. Peter Buzusstow (not sure if that spellings correct), he was a mighty

player for Carlton when I was a kid & I,d love to have a chat to him about that mark of the year he took way back in the 80's.

  18. ummm woosha- cos hes just an awesome coach

ben cousins- cos hes my role model and inspiration

david wirrapunda- cos this man is just all heart

and juddddd ur a dumb twit...and so is ur pathetic shamble u call a footy club..full of low lifes and criminals..ur coach is an a*****e if he thought a number 1 draft pick is worth more then chris judd judddd hes deluted....our well looks like we might be getting gibbs , murphy and kruzer haha we better SAVE them before u feral trashbags polute their minds and they become low life criminals and frauds..how does it feel surpporting a big criminal orgainisation....yes orgainisation cos u definetly aint a footy club..if fev was at another club hed be gone  bye now hahha bogans

  19. Tony Modra was my all time favourite player. and i wouldnt mind meeting Blight, Graham Cornes, Robran, and Gary Ablett snr AND jnr

  20. Woosha because he was an exellent player and now premiership coach of the team he played for and of the team i support so i would love to meet him. (again, because i have already meet him). He seems like a very funny, laid back character, who would be good to have a chat to. Maybe i could meet some players while im there!?!

  21. Melbourne's Roy "Up There" Cazaly.

I'd ask HIM about those screamers everyone talks about. I'd find out if they were better than today's grabs.

  22. Probably Luke Power or Simon Black for the lions, they are my favourite players and i model myself on them when i play

  23. Polly Farmer -: the biggest influence on the modern game.

Carji Greaves -: first Brownlow Winner.

E J Whitten -: for his passion for the game

Jacko and Ron Andrews -: for pure enjoyment

  24. Shane Edwards coz hes so good looking and Ablett snr so i can see if he really was a good footy player.

  25. Lance buddy franklin no doubt that would just be awesome as.
