Can you recycle other types of trash such as plastic wrappers, napkins, and used aluminum foil? If so, then how?

  1. My town accepts (in one bin) metal foils, plastics numbered between 1- 6 (including styrofoam), glass, paper (not cardboard) lawn clippings, leaves, grass clippings.


  2. Plastics are usually not recyclable but some is.  Your local waste disposal should have plastic recycling, where they sort it out.

    Bioplastics are coming and are already on the market to a limited extent.  The best of these are actually compostable.

    Any metal is recyclable, and most recycling centers will take aluminum in any form.

    Napkins can go in the landfill, they or basically organic waste.
