If you clean skateboard wheels (without the bearings) how can i avoid taking the paint off the wheels?

and btw im going to use soap and water. so i didnt test it out yet. but im afraid it the soap would *destroy* the paint on the wheels. please help by your own experience. thanks!!!

I'm pretty sure skateboard wheels don't even incorporate paint!

Skateboard wheels are made of urethane and I think they use dye to get the desired color.

The design doesn't matter. They'll come off anyway. What really matters is if you're having fun and enjoying yourself.

if you don't scrub on the graphic it won't come off, soap will hardly take the graphic off, wear and tare will take it off quicker. warm water with mild dish soap is all i've ever used and it's never took the graphic off, even when I wanted it too, you really need to scrub it to get them off so avoid doing htat to much and you'll be alright.
