If you close your eyes and think of someone, can you picture their face in your mind?

This depends upon the thinking in mind,sometimes it comes with full picture and sometimes we forget full picture and part of it visible.

for some reason its easier for me to "stare off into space" and picture dem. but i can do it the other way, its just blurrier. lolz :D can you?

No, I can only really remember parts and it's all rather foggy when i put them together in my head. It's like looking through a clouded window at a slightly different rendering of the person. It can take me as short as a day apart from someone to completely lose all clarity to their face.

But places, I can completely remember them. I can remember the location of objects in a room or space in location to each other perfectly, and details of them, even small ones.

It all depends for me.

Usually I can see everyone's face crystal clear...there's something weird about my mind that allows me to remember every detail of a room or person.

But if it's someone I barely glance at, then it's just a few stand out parts.

Usually if it's someone I know well, like a friend, family member, teacher, etc, I can picture their whole face. Most of the time it's them smiling or the last memory I have of them.

If it's someone like a cashier at the grocery store or a random guy on the street, I'll remember their face for... I'd say about an hour... and then it starts to fade away, and I only see parts of their face, usually the most unusual or striking or memorable areas.
