Isn't that like punishing someone who hasn't done anything wrong? My sister's fiance and she own a car together, and he has to have an ignition interlock installed. Now she has to blow in the d**n thing to drive her own car. That's pretty unfair!

  1. It is unfair to the co-owner. But don't blame the law blame the idiot with the DUI.

  2. Yes it is,

but that's one of the risks when you have with  joint ownership of anything.

  3. Maybe this will be a wake up call to her that he is NOT a great guy to be getting married to...

  4. She should drop the drunk then! If she's not drinking it is only a minor inconvenience. She's lucky he didn't kill some one!

  5. It sounds like it's her choice to co-own a car with him, so I can't really say the law is unfair.  She has options here.

  6. I fail to see how this is unfair to her....it's also HIS car and as long as she isn't trying to drive with alcohol in her system then she has absolutely nothing to worry about and no reason for it to "alter" her way of life....how do you consider this unfair?
