  1. no its only called unsecured because it is letting any one access it without a code it is just like a normal hotspot just with no key or password

  2. The short answer is no, the long answer is yes.

If the website you are using has a lock symbol in the address/location bar then the passwords will be encrypted, so no they can't.

However if it's a pritty low-key website that doesn't, then there is a high chance if someone had the right software they could sniff for packets being sent and received from your PC.

  3. Just because you're using someone's wireless signal doesn't mean they can access your machine's information.  Don't worry at all!  They can't see any of it.

  4. yeah mate technology is vast now they could probably hack your hack on a secure network

  5. If they know what they are doing then yes. If your neighbor is extremely computer savvy then they could, but I doubt that they would unless they are a hacker. Though you should be safe, though if you are that worried about it why not use you're own internet connection.

  6. If your passwords are not store and you are not transmitting them, no.

If they reside on your laptop and you have a decent firewall, probably not.

If you were on mine stealing my bandwidth, yes.  I have a sniffer.
