  1. I would go with A.

Apple tends to be a higher priced line of computer, thus you would want to sell them in a higher income area. People interested in a Apple would be willing to drive a bit further to get one.

  2. In a college town... high population ...more people ... more traffic.

  3. OH YOU CHANGED THE OPTIONS!

    A.

  4. B, because you'll have a better chance of gettting a sale than a place where no one goes.

  5. Definately A

No matter how apple tries, they will never become a mainstream item (at least not any time soon).

Take for example a shopping mall here in California. (Tampa / Northridge mall) Mid income area from what the local economy is and moderate to high traffic. When you go inside, it is packed. Mainly kids roaming the mall that get inside to try to get online or mess around with the applications. Parents no where near. I was there for a while and I did not see many people going to the counter to buy things. In fact, I was turned off from even thinking of buying apple due to what it looked as setting their standards to low to customer service and attention due to the influx of kids messing around. They miss serious business opportunities there.

Now lets go to "The Grove" in Hollywood. High income area with moderate to high traffic. You do not see kids messing around. You see people interested in the hardware and software. You see more people at the counter inquiring or purchasing. A much more pleasant experience for someone to do serious business.

Now if you are putting a mac store, you should already know this. Macs are really for people who have been with Mac or professionals that will use them. Macs tend to be higher price than regular PCs (dont even bring that c**p mini mac into this conversation, I got one and it sucks majorly!). So the answer is quite obvious.

It is not just about the traffic but making sure the traffic matches the product you are selling. I mean, I would never sell fried chicken in front of a gym. No matter what the traffic is, I wont get business due to the gym.

    Good Luck!
