  1. Queenstown, New Zealand

    a beautiful place to visit

  2. I want to go to Ireland and maybe visit a haunted castle or two, see what happens. :)

  3. Def New Zealand.  It is the most amazing place.  Loved the Bay of Islands and the various sounds seeing the dolphins and seals.  Would equally love to be somewhere like Akaroa near Christchurch, so idyllic.  Observing the Albatross and yellow eyed penguins on the Otago Peninsula is also magic.  Watching the whales in a little plane in Kaikoura.  You couldn't ask more of a county it is wonderful.

  4. Back on my boat in Antigua... I had to come back to the U.S. on business and can't wait to get out of here.

  5. Tuscany, Italy.

The landscaping is beautiful, life is easy going, the language is beautiful, and the vista's are spectacular. The point of picking anywhere in the world is to pick a place that is clearly out of reach.

(therefore i wouldn't pick , lets say Canada, or California, because i can just as easily fly a quick plane ride down there lol)

  6. Cancun! Powder white sand, and crystal turquoise beach, then a file miles away is the night-life.

  7. Italy

  8. New Orleans, because it's home.

New Orleans is also a great place to vist (and live).  NOLA is one of the world's special places with an ambience unique in North America, and remains so even after Katrina devastated it in 2005.

Katrina flooded about 80% of New Orleans with salt water, and the water stayed for almost a month. Much of the city is still struggling to recover and all you have to do to see devastation is drive around. It will take years for NOLA to fully recover from Katrina.

However, the parts of the city that tourists usually visit were not flooded. It's not a coincidence - the French Quarter and other old parts of the city were built on relatively high ground and only suffered wind damage from Katrina. Almost all of the damage has been repaired and you have to look closely in the FQ and city center to see that Katrina happened at all.

You should visit and see for yourself.
