  1. That all people shall be treated equal.

  2. Get the Fair tax act passed, H.R.25 eliminate the IRS.

  3. Take your pick... both candidates have very unique ideas about "change":

    What Obama is offering:

    - Affordable Healthcare via Optional Federal Insurance

    - Decreased Focus on Iraq

    - Increased Focus on Afghanistan

    - Lower cost of College Tuition via Subsidizing

    - Decreased Taxes For Lower Income

    - Raised Taxes on the upper 9%

    - Campaign Finance Reform

    - Alernative and Some Nuclear Energy

    - Increased Discussions with Foreign Nations

    - Legislation against oil speculators

    - Continuation of Faith Based Intitiatives

    What John McCain is offering:

    - Continuation of the Iraq Military Presence

    - Increased Skepticism of Iran, Korea and Russia

    - Offshore Drilling (and potentially drilling in ANWAR)

    - Continuing privatized Health Insurance

    - Fewer Earmarks and "Pork Barrell" Spending

    - Appointment of "Pro-Life" Judges

    - Redistribution of Veterans Healthcare to Private Sector

    - Less Social Programs Spending

    - Increased Weapons Spending

    - Continuation of No Child Left Behind

    - Less Cooperation with the United Nations

Personally - Universal Healthcare was my big issue but neither candidate is offering that now... Obama's plan sounds better than McCain's but I was really hoping for Hillary.

  4. Restoration of government according to the Constitution, which basically would mean giving nearly all domestic responsibilities and powers back to the States, abolishing the Federal Reserve, and shutting down the IRS. (Technically, the 14th Amendment is part of the U.S. Constitution, but it was never legally ratified.)

  5. To get of the UN and charge them rent till they get out of NY.

  6. Elimination of lobbyists

  7. The end of corruption and lies.

  8. Take our military bases out of other countries back yards. Not Iraq that is another issue.

  9. elect more minorities to the government

  10. I would like more funding for public schools.  To that end, I could see the children being  submersed in science and the arts.  I think that the children in public schools hold the key to making our society better.  They are the majority, and if we invest in them and truly support them,  I think that they will make us all proud.
